Equipserv UK look to boost recruitment following a growth in customer base to deliver cost effective engineering solutions
Equipserv UK – the UK’s leading independent service, maintenance and repair provider for waste handling, recycling and backstage equipment, have seen consistent growth in their customer portfolio leading to a need to add to their existing engineering team.
The Sheffield based company currently operating with 15, highly skilled engineers across the UK are looking to increase their network of engineers to manage the growth, maintain response times, and to ensure a positive work-life balance for its engineers.
On the back of what is being described as the UK’s worst staffing shortages since the late 1990s, and as quoted in the Guardian, to promote the need to reskill and upskill amid the rush to reopen from lockdown and a sharp drop in overseas workers due to Covid and Brexit, Equipserv UK have recently recruited a Trainee Engineer in the Midlands area and have an additional trainee proposed for the North London Area.
Roles have also been created for experienced engineers in Buckinghamshire, Avon, and East Midland areas.
“It is critical that we allow our engineers the time on site to undertake their role completely and, with growing traffic, increased customer base and more on site protocols, we are focused on ensuring that we have the network to support this and not overwork our existing engineers”.
“We are committed to giving our customers the best possible service, and ensuring that we are able to provide preventative maintenance solutions to not only extend the lifetime of machines, but also to ensure they are always kept in a safe working condition for our customers.”
